Cool Thrift Shop finds....There are a few great thrift shops locally that i try to get to as much as possible...i found these Great anatomy books for 75 cents each...they have lots of colored and B&W plates....i plan on using these in a large collage creation i will be working on soon...i'm finishing up my pink floyd then i will be on to a new project...

Say what you want about thrift stores, I love digging through all the stuff to see what treasures I can find. Treasures to me that is. This goes for yard sales as well. Can't wait to see your newest project.

WOW cool find. There are a host of thrift shops (second had or charity shops we call them in the UK) all up & down my main art supply shopping area/haunt. Sadly there may be about 2 i can actually get into with my wheelchair. Even if i climb out there is often no room in the shops to move in a chair.

They will make excellent refference sources without having to go online. Excellent find indeed. I am very jealous lol.

I had a couple of anatomy books. They came in handy when I had to take Life Drawing in college. I ended up giving them to my son who can really draw!!!

Julie....I agree...Love Thrift Shops...They beat shopping at Micheal's for art supplies...

Georgina...I find that most people who say they can't draw or paint are the ones who truly can...You should give it a try...

Why thankyou hun but thats okay i have Broadband & a fairly fast PC so i just source images when i need them online, very kind to offer though. Still jealous too though very nice find indeed lol.
