Deep in the Forest by Karl Kwasny

"Deep in the forest, where heavy feet sink,
you mightn’t be quite as alone as you think!"

by Karl Kwasny

Sit back a bit from your pc and squint your eyes, taking in the shape of the picture, rather than it’s details. Can you see the skull? The little girls head is its eye, and the bottom of the dress, it’s teeth.

And This Last Optical Illusion will stay with you for a while....If your prone to seizures don't do this one....first click the picture or
Wait for the animation to load, and concentrate on the center dot for a minute or so. Normally the skulls are disappearing in a clock-wise direction, but if you manage to stay still and concentrated, you will experience an afterimage of the rotating skull in places (where there shouldn’t be any).

AweSome Optical Illusions

This Optical Illusions...If you look at this photo more closely, you will notice that the eyes and happy mouth aren’t drawn on these two kettles, instead it’s the perfect example of anamorphism. It’s hard to believe, that the photo was taken from the perfect angle, so that the reflection of the stove makes the happy face on the kettles.

This after-image optical illusion appears, once you’ve stared at the red dot in the center of the USA flag more than 30 seconds; now quickly turn your eyes towards some white spot – for examlpe: your celling, a wall, piece of paper… What do you see?

And Now for some Skulls

Stare at this animation for 40 seconds, and concentrate on the black spot.
After some time, the image will switch automatically (since it’s 2 frame animation),
and show you black and white photo of a Pyramid in Egypt.
Because of the special effect, originally invented by John Shadowsky,
you will see a full color photo of the Pyramid instead black and white
one that shows up.
Don’t believe me? See for your self!

Do you find that black spots appearing? How many black dots can you count? This illusion is a classical one and originally discovered by Elke Lingelbach.

Double Picture Illusion

Look carefully at this picture, what do you see?

After you make your decision, scroll down for an explanation.

You saw a couple in an intimate love position, right?
Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario.

What they will see, however, is nine (small & black) dolphins in the picture!

So, I guess we've already proven you're not a young innocent child. Now, if it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 6 seconds, your mind is SO corrupted that you probably need help!

OK, here's help: look at the space between her right arm and her head, the tail is on her neck, follow it up. Look at her left hip, follow the shaded part down, it's another one, and on his shoulder..

Broken Spectre phenomenon

Broken Spectre phenomenon

As Daily Mail reported, a climber in Poland has taken this astonishing photo, of what appears to be a ghostly figure emerging from the morning mist on the side of a mountain. This illusion, which occurred at dawn in the Tatra mountains (Zakopane), is actually what is known as a Broken Spectre phenomenon.

It can be easily reproduced, since it occurs when there’s a low sun shining behind someone looking downwards into fog, with their shadow projected forwards. German scientist called Johann Silberschlag first observed the phenomenon way back in 1780, but since then they have been seen and recorded many times in the region. It is a superstition found among mountain climbers that whoever sees a Brocken Spectre will die in the mountains the very next day!

Liu Bolin

35-year-old Liu Bolin, from Shandong, China, manages to camouflage himself in any surroundings, no matter how difficult they might be.

Liu works on a single photo for up to 10 hours at a time, to make sure he gets it just right, but he achieves the right effect: sometimes passers-by don’t even realize he is there until he moves.

The talented Liu Bolin says his art is a protest against the actions of the Government, who shut down his art studio in 2005 and persecutes artists. It’s about not fitting into modern society. Despite problems with Chinese authorities, Liu’s works are appreciated at an international level.
